Paperdolls Handmade Summer Market

Paperdolls Handmade Summer Market

Event photography has always made me nervous. Whenever I think about shooting an event the first thing that goes through my mind is 'what if I mess things up?!' The reason why I wanted to photograph The Paperdolls Handmade event was purely because it is a market for creative folk, and since I have been working with designers and makers over the past year I knew I'd feel right at home. The other thing I loved was the venue. I've been to The Custard Factory a few times now and I always love the vibe there. It seems to be one of the central places of all things creative and solopreneurial in Birmingham, so this location was the perfect place for the market to take place. Looking back I'm really pleased that I went ahead and pushed myself out of my comfort zone because I'm very happy with the results, and to top it off everyone was so lovely to meet and speak to! A big thank you to Jo and Carolyn for allowing me to pop by :)

This offer came at the right time, because my car has been suffering from god-knows-what and Run Away Moments seemed like the perfect getaway I could have asked for.
